How big is The Rover™?  It is a 5 Ft. x Ft. ocean cleaning robot and is small enough to fit in most pickup trucks.

How is the The Rover™ powered? It is a battery-operated, fully electric device! Yay to 0 emissions!

What type of pollution can The Rover™ manage? The Rover™ can effectively clean trash, deadfish, algae, oil, and more!

How long can The Rover™ be in the water? It can be left in the water indefinitely! Even during the freezing temperatures of the winter months! In case you want to remove it, it has wheels for easy land transport!

How much does The Rover™ weigh? The unit weighs about 400 lbs. and is easily transported on our amphibious wheels!

How is The Rover™ Delivered? It will arrive in a crate (we advise you store safely). There are minor assembly items that need to be done before launching into the water.

What happens if The Rover™ breaks? If it breaks, we're here to help fix it! Give us a call, we'll walk you through troubleshooting and send you replacement parts!

What's the run time? The battery life is 10 hrs. and is easily recharged from your dock using an extension cord!

Is The Rover™ safe for marine life? Yes! The best way to think of it is as any other boat on the water. Fish and other animals naturally avoid it as it skims through the water.

DataPod™ FAQ's

Water quality monitoring solution

How big is the DataPod ™? The DataPod ™ is 2 Ft tall and 1 Ft. wide. It also weighs in at 10 lbs.!

How often does the DataPod ™ need to be calibrated? Once every 3 to 6 months.

How long can the DataPod ™ be in the water? The DataPod ™ can be in the water for 9 out of 12 months of the year. However, in more tropical climates, it can monitor year-round!

How is the DataPod ™ powered? The DataPod ™ is completely solar-powered and only operates on a 3.5V system! Meaning a smaller package with fewer power requirements.

Can I customize my DataPod ™ sensor suite? At this time the DataPod ™ is only designed to hold its current suite of 6 sensors. However, The Rover™ can be outfitted with more specific sensors for autonomous data collections.

Where can the DataPod ™ be deployed? The DataPod ™ can be deployed in both fresh and salt water bodies. We recommend it for near-shore monitoring at depths of 50 ft. or less.

How do I fasten the DataPod ™? The DataPod ™ has options for tying to a dock or existing buoy. It also has an option for anchoring to its line.

How do I know if something is wrong with my water? If your readings are unhealthy, the DataPod ™ will send you an alert that there may be a pollution event taking place.

How many DataPods ™ do I need? Data coverage is dependent on the application and the research being done. Contact us and we'll help you find the appropriate quantity for your monitoring needs!
